Should I respect my father?

My father is a racist jerk. He is selfish and spoiled, not to mention a bully and a total jerk! For 17 years he has bullied my mother to the point where she doesn't even have the self confidence to stand up for herself and even attempt to separate from him! He has called her mentally unstable, and every time i do something wrong, it is her fault for making me mentally unstable! He calls her entire family obese mental cases. He calls my brother a weakling and a disgrace, and my sister a bratty hoar. I am the only one in the family that he "loves" The only reason this is, is because i am his "precious" I'm just like an ornament to him. Something he has to show for 17 years of marriage. My siblings are forever trying to get his approval, but the only one he ever praises is me. This pretty much makes me out to be the brat and my siblings get mad at me. All my mother has to say is "respect your father" I refuse to respect that racist, bullying piece of dirt so called my father. Every time i do rebel though, its worse for my family because he'd never get angry at me. No, its always somehow their fault. Should i respect my father, if only to protect my siblings and mother?
