My mom won't let me be friends with muslims :(?

I go to school in London and I go to secondary I am now in yr 10. My mom is a strong christian and believe they are antichrists. There are a couple of muslims in my cl that I get along with and we have great laughs together but if my mom found out she would probably gruond me. :( What do I do? Is she right? Should I close off from people who aren't christian?
