Did you ever go in for an ultrasound to find out your babies gender but it was in a position they couldnt tell?

Thursday I went in for an ultrasound 18 weeks pregnant to find out my babies gender. I was sooooo happy and wanted to go shopping afterwards. Come to find out the baby was laying face down covering his or hers private parts! The tech tried for literally 45 minutes poking my belly giving me oj nut NOTHING! The baby stayed like that the entire time! I was so upset I started to cry! Lol anyway has this ever happend to you if so did your baby cooperate at the next ultrasound if so what was the gender?
